Miso Ramen (味噌ラーメン)

When you cook Sapporo Ichiban, following to the official recipe might be safe. But you can try this recipe if you consider trying Japanese home cooking. Ingredients (for 2 servings) 2 packs instant ramen (I used RAOH this time. Grilled Rice Ball in Soup (焼きおにぎりスープごはん)

A perfect quick lunch menu.  You can enjoy it the soup itself but I strongly recommend it with grilled onigiri and an Onsen Tamago. Ingredients (for 2 servings) 240 g  Japanese mustard spinach (otherwise spinach) 40 g  carrot 150 g  mushrooms 1/2 tsp  dashi powder 2 cups  water Sesame oil for seasoning Salt for seasoning Black pepper for seasoning 1 grilled onigiri (See this page for the recipe.) 1 Onsen Tamago (See this page for the recipe.) Salmon fried rice (Sake chahan, 鮭チャーハン)

Less than 10 minutes to cook! If you have salmon flakes in your fridge, you may want to try this quick recipe. Good for lunch. I’m sure not only you, but your kids and families will like it. Natto Spaghetti (納豆スパゲティ)

For everyone who likes and doesn’t like natto. Frying with olive oil makes natto milder. You can use any long pasta. Ingredients  (for 2 servings) 200g of spaghetti 1/2 of onion 1/2  a bunch of shimeji mushrooms (or shiitake mushrooms) 2 portion cups of natto  3 teaspoons of olive oil 1 teaspoon of chicken consommé powder 3 tablespoons of soy sauce 1 tablespoon of white wine 1 tablespoon of butter Black pepper (to taste) Salt (to taste)  1~2 stalks of mizuna (if any) or parsley Mizuna Instructions Start cooking the spaghetti Slice the onion.
